Hello! I'm Kaitlyn, the founder of La Loba Creative Co. I come to you with a unique combination of design & marketing experience mixed with an education in both anthropology & psychology. I find that so much of what I do tends to lie at the crossroads. I love to explore the places where soul and psyche and creativity align. I believe somewhere at this crossroads lies our purpose.
I am highly influenced by Jungian thought while working on a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. So, I'm not just a designer. I also long for soulful work. I know what it's like.
Recently, I’ve seen many colleagues get to the point of starting their therapy practice and not know where to begin. While we're taught the theories and how to sit with the feelings, we're not really taught how to start a business. As we know, an online presence has become almost crucial for any business or service these days. I find most creative people in helping professions really feel the tension in that - myself included. It’s not where we want to put our energy.
This is where I can help you, and this is how La Loba began. Like you, I care more about the soul work than the busiwork, and my hope is to make this part of your business journey meaningful, inspiring, and fun! I bring a relational approach to the process, and I hope when we meet together you feel like you’re meeting up with a good friend. My goal for you is to come away with a brand and website that's deeply aligned with who you are and what your business stands for.

As a psychology student, I'm inspired by depth practices and approaches that welcome in the soul realm and encourage deep walks into the depths of psyche, often using creativity, movement, and imagination as a catalyst for self-knowing. I recently took a course on the book Women Who Run with the Wolves by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes through Dr. Vanya Leilani and her School of Wild Knowing. This book is a collection of myths and ancient stories that evoke the image of Wild Woman that resides within the psyche of each woman. Through these stories we are both gently and harshly reminded of the ways our deepest instincts have been smothered by one's overculture. Moreso, we are taught to follow the paw prints back to our truest and wildest knowing. This inner knowing allows us to show up in the world authentically and without apology, and serves as the foundation for the good work we know deep down is ours. One of the stories in this book is the story of La Loba.
La Loba means "wolf-woman," and in mythology & folklore she represents the archetypal image of Wild Woman. La Loba is a bone gatherer, collecting what is dead and lost and singing them back to life. As women, we can re-connect with the archetypal wild woman within each of us, using our most authentic gifts to sing ourselves and the colletive back to life.
My clients are healers, therapists, artists, activities, spiritual leaders, earth-tenders and earth-dwellers They are women who are not afraid to go deep, not afraid to get their hands dirty, not afraid to show up, not afraid to share their powerful gifts of knowing with the world. My client are wild women.
My creative work is inspired by nature, story, photography, collage, and a dash of whimsy.
